# Approval: motion_approved and position_changed commit together

Approval re-verifies the evidence bytes against the recorded hash, reloads the declaration, re-checks the transition, and confirms no position change intervened since the proposal, all inside one write transaction. Only then does it insert both events. The position now folds to hotl and names the event that moved it.
